Legacy 2001

The Scholarship of the Class of 2001

The Jay County class of 2001 has decided to recognize class members that have passed away. We have started a scholarship named Legacy 2001 to honor them.

The scholarship is handled by the Portland Foundation. We would love your support. Donations are excepted by stopping by the Portland Foundation at the High Street location in Portland, IN or donations can be received by this link www.portlandfoundation.org and click the 'Donate Now' button at the top right of the home page. On the next screen, type "Legacy 2001 Scholarship Fund" in the search box underneath the photo of the girl holding a soccar ball.

We are also continuing our 3rd Car Show and Corn Hole Tournament; which will take place June from 7-9pm in Redkey. It was very successful last year even with the rain and many businesses supported our cause.

We would love the continued support from the community by either coming to the event or making a donation to the Car Show and Corn Hole Tournament. Through this event we were able to give our ridst $500 scholarship to James Robinette and are getting ready to pick our second scholarship winner.

We are so glad to give back to the community and remember our friends. Thank you so much for your time and consideration of supporting the scholarship Legacy 2001.
